Hi! I adopted Lilly on January 9 and have been loving every minute since then. I already had one
min pin and decided that one was not enough. As you can tell by the pictures, Lilly is the sweetest
thing (the one with cropped ears). She gets along so well with my other min pin, Bates. They like to
see which one can get the closest to me! Which, I love every minute of it! I do not know what I
would do without my children! Lilly is the one in the chair and under the covers. Bates is the one
with the ball in his mouth always wanting to play and his ears standing straight up!
Thank you for letting me share my family!
God Bless,

i would like to submit a few photos of theo, our alabama rescue 2003, and his sister roxie, our first min pin we got from a farm in maryland.
theo is doing wonderful. he arrived a scared and scrawny little boy. he had been abused and starved before a neighbor called animal rescue. i fell in love with is giant ears on the website and had him sent from alabama to florida where we lived at the time. he has been my loyal companion ever since. he is weighing in at about 10 lbs. now. he was only 4lbs. when he was picked up by the rescue organization and he was about 7 lbs. when we adopted him. he is a very happy little boy with a sister who plays with him non-stop. they run through the house and the yard like maniacs and they are on constant patrol at the windows and the outside gate. i would have a dozen if my husband would let me!
the photos are of the two in their reindeer ears, getting a california tan, individual shots, and theo holding on tight to the corn cob he scored out of the trash on thanksgiving. he was so proud of his score!.
theo (the rescue) is the one with the giant stand up ears. roxie is the one with the floppy ears.
thanks so much,

I wanted to thank you again for all your help. Dixie has settled in wonderfully at home. She loves to steal toys from the Rhett (the Sheppard), she is too funny! She has learned to climb up in a flower pot I have and sit there to look out the dinning room window. The others have taught her to bark. She has the cutest little squeaky bark too!
Thank you,
Cheryl

Hi Mag,
Meet the three amigos, Lily, Noah, and Zeus are all IMPS dogs needing a new home. Their foster mom sent this photo letting everyone know how patient they are with her 11 yr old daughter. She loves to dress them up, her mom said this is what happens when you have an only child.

I adopted Suzy Q on Feb. 19 and renamed her Piccolo (I'm a music teacher)
She's happy and enjoys her home... we walk, explore, talk, and snuggle in front of the TV (a lot)
She's lost her overweight 1 extra pound and has a clean bill of health by her vet.
I LOVE MY MIN PIN... she's like a child to me... I even talk to her like she would be my child

In November 2000 (on Thanksgiving weekend, in fact), a red male min pin named Jody (approx 4 years old) came to live with me. Jody had been hit by a car and was still recovering from his surgery while he was waiting for someone to take him home. His foster mother said no one wanted to consider Jody because he wasn't looking so cute and not walking real well. I asked to take Jody home for a trial after an unfortunate experience with another adoption attempt. Within 3 hours, Jody and I knew he was home for good. He fully recovered and walked just fine. Jody has been my best buddy and constant companion for the last 6 years. He brought more joy to my life than I ever could have imagined. Jody's a lover and everyone who met him loves Jody. On Tuesday,, November 7, 2006, I had to say good-bye to my sweet boy and let him go to rest where nothing hurts and the sun always shines. He was about 10 or 11 years old. We always celebrated his birthday on Thanksgiving so this year was tough. My heart is broken but I cherish every day I had with him.
This past Saturday, Loretta from IMPS came to pick up some of Jody's things so that another little guy or girl who is waiting for a home could use them. It was, in some small way, a gesture of thanks to all of you who work with these wonderful dogs It is not the time for me to get a new baby, but knowing that some little cutie is wearing his harness or sleeping in his new bed brings me some comfort.
Thanks for all your good work,

Hi! I was just visiting the website and thought I would send an update on Lilly. I adopted her back January 9, 2005! Coming up on two years!! I don't know what I would do without my "Little Lilly"!! She is such a funny little girl. The first pic is not even her kennel. She does not stay in a kennel, but always wants to stay with big sissy Daisy in hers. Then, the second pic, if there is a blanket around, Lilly is "rooting" to get under it. No matter what she has to lay on!!
Thanks for letting me share these photos!

Adrian is doing just fine in her new home. The first day or two was a little different, but it would be the same for us if we went to a new home. Every time I lay on the couch she jumps strait on my chest and gives a hug. As you will be able to see, she still does the "Adrian Hugs", espically after you take her for her walk or give her a treat. She loves to look outside the glass door like most minpins.
We were also concerned how she would react around children. We have two nieces (5 and 3), they spent the night with us one week after we got her and Adrian was on the bed with both of them sleeping the first night they were there. She loves to sleep with her pink bear at the foot of our bed. Her and the cat are learning to share parts of the bed as well. She has herself a home now where she loves and truely is loved. Thank you and all the minpin rescue family for bringing this little four legged angel into our family.

Good Morning,
I just wanted to share some pictures of our little girl. There are a couple of her first bath at our house, a couple of her playing with her favorite toy and there is one of her just looking cute. I hope you enjoy them because we sure enjoy Chelsey!!!!! She is so funny and I know she is the curtest thing that there ever was!!! She makes us so happy and she is the best companion for Flo-Jo (our other pretty girl). She came to our house shy and timid but now she is rambunctious and awesome!!! Thanks for everything!
Sincerely,

Hi Debra,
This is Melissa. Been a long time! Was browsing through the IMPS success stories and thought I would give you an update on the Maxius (Baby) my husband calls him Maximux Decimous Meridious commander of the puppies to the north (ie the move gladiator) I just call him Max. We have thoroughly enjoyed having him and he is def daddy's dog. It's funny Mimi ( the one we already had) is just like me and Max is exactly like me husband. Max and Mimi are a funny pair. They sleep, play and are very protective of each other. When we go to the dog park Max sometimes growls at other dogs that get to frisky with her...in turn she gives his ears a bath every morning. and hurray,,,he can hold his bladder while I'm at work..They finally made it to the point that they have complete free rein of the house all day, even while we are at work, so he spends his whole day playing with the mountain of toys he has, chasing his sister or barking at the squirrels through the window (i think the squirrels figured out that he couldn't get them because they keep getting closer to the window!!) Anyway..thank you thank you for this fabulous organization that you help run...if we had tons of room we would take on even more...but 2 hyper ones are enough for now!!! Anyway, we recently visited the vet and Max has lost a couple pounds and is a strong muscular 20pds and looking good. He takes his glucosomine (sp) daily and eats healthy food and gets lot of exercise. So all is good in the Baxter house. I have included some recent pictures of him sleeping with his daddy. And a few of his sister.
Thanks
