These are a couple of pictures of Elvis, who was a "foster failure" of IMPS
volunteers Nancy & Gonzalo R. This is the second Min Pin they fostered,
and the first they kept!
I guess Elvis really IS the KING! The other dog (curled up in the tiny
bed) is his best buddy, Kaiser, a huge Labrador who weighs about 80 lbs.

Today is a very special day here in the Reed household. We are celebrating the Anniversary
of our little Winnie Girl. It has been 4 years to this day that we have been blessed to have
her in our lives. She was 5 and half months old when we got her and she has been an Angel
Girl from day 1. Always there with her unconditional love and of her strength. :-)
Running out to pick up a brand new pool for her to "bob for rocks" in and baking her a
chicken and rice cake (cookie).
Hugs,

Here's our IMPS girl, Chula, when we got her in and then 4 months later. She was seized in a
cruelty case, bald from Demodex mange. A wonderful home adopted her after a month and finished
her mange treatment - look at her now!

Here's two photos. The first photo is of Harley, who we adopted in early
2001 from IMPS. The second photo is one of Harley and his adoptive sister
Lexi. Lexi is half his size but he knows this little lady is in charge.
They adore each other.
Thanks,

Hi, Mag.
I thought I'd send a couple of pictures to the list, since I just figured out how!
The first picture was taken in Indianapolis at a USDAA trial, where we had a Min Pin Rescue
reunion!. From left to right is: Diane M. and Samson, who she adopted from Lynn B.; Sandy and
Scott M. from Canada and Missy, Tuffy, and ? (sorry, Sandy!), me and Nikki and Shainy, both
IMPS adoptees, and Tom and Jester & Charlie (Charlie
never even made it into rescue, lol!).
The second is our 'Pin Pack waiting patiently for dinner. The terrier are also waiting, but not
quite that close to the 'Pins..... Mealtimes get a bit too exciting!
The last is a shot of Jester and Nikki, keeping warm. Aren't they adorable? :o)
Thanks.

Maggie, Here are some pictures of CJ. We got him from IMPS
two year ago and he is still going strong. His three legs do not stop him at all. He has been a
little mouthie with his barking lately and doesn't want to be left behind.

Bach and Choc are a foster pair here in IMPS IL,
formerly called Chocolate and Box (very cute as Chocolate Box, but who wants to call "Here Box!
Here Box")? Their foster mom Paula got this great pic of them, and I had to share.
And...
Here we have my own doggie, Snert, in his self-made pillow fort... sigh....

Hi, Mag-
Here's some pics of Indiana foster pin "Belle". Belle was used as a bait dog and had many nasty bite wounds, one pictured below in her "before" shot.
The wonderful Severa family adopted her - as you can see above, she is very RELAXED and happy in her new home! They call it "Belle's Primordial Ooze".
Thanks,
Lisa G

Mag,
I would really appreciate it if you guys could put a blurb about Izzy. We, my wife and I, adopted her 2 years ago. She is doing just fine, and is loving her forever home. We recently got another dog, Tucker. Tucker is a boxer / Shepard mix and they get along great, except when they are fighting over snuggle spots on our bed at night.
Here is a link to Izzy's website at dogster.com
www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=315279&j=t
Hope all is going well and please let us know if there is anything we can do.
Thanks
Mick

In October 2005 we added Brewzer to our family. Ellie needed a brother. Jeff and I (Bryna) thought about it and realized it would be great if Ellie had someone to play with. We have had Brewzer for about 10months now and we love him. He fits right in!!!
Thanks a Bunch,

Back in 2002, a little deaf boy called Milo came to IMPS, and was adopted by a home in IN. Sadly, when he returned to IMPS earlier this year, he weighed 20 pounds! (He was 6lbs in 2002).
Well... look at him now :-)
From his foster mom:
"Hello,
I just wanted to inform all of you that our foster, Milo, has WON
the petfit challenge for the Midwest. I am unsure of all of the
prizes, and am kinda shocked that we won. The judges said that they
fell in love with Milo, his pictures and story. I know that we have
won a year of Hill's prescription diet, a trip to New York for the
big competition. Milo gets to go too!! Our vet also won a trip to
New York. We get to meet Jillian Michaels from the TV show "the
Biggest Loser". The local media will have Milo's story on and we
will be featured in newspapers and magazines throughout the
Midwest. All I can say is there will be alot of publicity for
IMPS. (and we thought we were busy now!!!)
I don't want to brag, but am just so proud of all that Milo has
done. We wouldn'! t have been in this competition had Betsy R. not
forwarded me the information. We are going to do something special
for Betsy for helping us out!!
Remember -- no treats at the picnic for Milo, his BIG weighin will be
on October 19th on the National petfit challenge tv show!!
Oh, wow, I can't believe this!!! Now I have to lose ½ my body
weight if I am going to go too!!! Thanks for all your encouraging
words for Milo's weight loss... it has truly paid off!
Sandy K."

Mag,
I thought I would share a picture of Regis who was my first foster failure. Regis has been with me for two years now & celebrated his birthday this month. I'm not sure really how old he is but he came to me in December so I thought that would be a good month to celebrate. Please share this on the list. Thank,
Keith

I have adopted 2 min pins from IMPS. My first was Tuesday, who has his info on the brags page. I adopted Abby several years back and never sent in an update. So, here it is... Abby was rescued in Indiana about 4 years ago. She came from Dorothy K. in IL, who could no longer keep her. Abby found a great home. She joined a pack and is definitely not like the others. When we got her, she had never really spent any time outside. She now spends most of her time outside by herself. She comes in to say hi when she feels like it. She loves to give kisses, especially after we put chapstick on. She likes to terrorize the other dogs and charge at them when they try to get on the couch. She is a great dog. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with an adrenal tumor that is not responsive to chemotherapy or any type of medication. We decided against surgery due to the high risk of death (33%). It's almost 2 years later and she is doing fine. Her side affect is excessive drinking, so we can live with that.
Attached is a picture of her and her poo family.... Paycheck, Abby, Credit, Tuesday, Barney & Monster,
and a few pix of Abby.

Hi,
I love looking at other peoples little Darlings, so I decided to share my delight with you. I adopted Shadow from IMPS 2-16, and it seems like he's been with me forever. Can't imagine coming home and not seeing his sweet little face.
Bless all of you for everything you do for these little guys, I certainly can never thank you enough..
Picture one is Shadow and one of the Quilt blocks we made...lol
Picture two is Shadow and the Crochet blocks we made...
Picture three is one of my favorites, he loves laying on the back of
the sofa and surveying the world..

My little success story - Ana
She has a fully fenced back yard and throughout the spring, summer, and fall, we walked nearly a
mile a day in our neighborhood. She KNOWS exactly what it means when mommy gets the leash out. My
husband installed a doggy door for Ana in the fall too, and she is really enjoying being able to
come and go as she pleases (and her people enjoy it too, knowing that she’s safe out there in the
fenced yard).
We've taken it easy this winter and are awaiting the arrival of spring!
