Summer Portrait

Hi there!!!

We've been meaning to write you all and say thanks so much for every thing you all do. We have three wonderful min-pins one in which wh have gotten from IMPS. Doby is our first Min-Pin and boy does he have a personality! He swears that he is the one and only boss in the house and he thinks he can talk (Very loudly!). He so lovable and sweet. Binky (our IMPS dog) was named Paddy before, because he was found on Saint Paddys Day! He is the abosolute sweetest dog ever and is everyones favorite!!! He has the prettiest eyes and will cuddle with you forever! Last but not least, little Franklyn!! He was a puppy mill rescue had has been through so much for a little guy. He's still a little spooky and jumpy at times but he is such a little sweety and has come along wonderfully!!

We just wanted to share our thanks with you all

Best of luck with all the other dogs..

Success Story - Redd

Wed, 27 May 2009 08:44:29 -0700 (PDT) - from Janice

Redd

In 2002, I was just a pudgy Red Min Pin in search of someone who would love me and not terrorize me with kids and vacuums. After spending a few weeks with a foster family, I found a lovely human and her Cocker to take me in. I was a hefty 22 lbs when I moved in with Dj and promptly made myself at home. It seems I found the right human to spoil me, take me for runs and had a great buddy in my adopted Cocker Brother to tear around the house with. Unfortunately, 6 months later my buddy died from an unexpected bout with Pneumonia. I settled into being the only dog moderately well, Mom gave me a lot of extra attention, a Special Couch to sit in and indulged my love of clothes with the latest polos and bandanas. Mom loves to take me traveling and out to my favorite place in the world, Pet smart. We even went through all the training classes there, I loved clicker training. Three years ago, mom got me a sister, a Boxer mix, to keep me company and out of trouble. She learned quickly I was in charge and bathes me every morning and night before we curl up in mom's room to sleep. Mom takes me on daily walks which has slimmed me down to a nice trim 16 lbs. She also made me a shady spot in the rock garden out back which is my favorite place to be on nice sunny days. I even am an unofficial mascot for my mom's derby team and get to come to practices and games. All the girls take turns picking me up and petting me for luck, I love derby. At the ripe age of 11, I have plenty of spunk left, and places to travel too. I can't wait!

Success Story - Diva

Date: Mon, 8 Jun 2009 06:43:19 -0700 (PDT) - from Sarah via Janice/Cathy

Diva

Diva is doing well with us in her new home in California. Bandit has taken to her and protects her, it is so cute. We go to the dog park every other day or so and Diva just loves running with the other dogs. She met a min pin about her size the other and they ran until she couldn't run anymore. Tom and I went to Disneyland and we couldn't take the kids with us, so they went to doggie day camp. Everyone there fell in love with them and said that they were great. Well here are some pictures of her.
