Mag,
Howdy down under! Hope all is well with you and yours. Give Frodo & Kirra
hugs and slurps from this side of the world.
I have attached a small collage of pictures for the web page from when we met
Samson's new Mom, Tina. She was very excited to meet him and was going right
to the Petsmart to buy him all kinds of goodies. He is a really friendly
guy, with lots of energy and I think they will be very happy together.

Just want to say THANK YOU to all the people that helped me get my partner in
crime. Had three phone numbers that did small breed rescue in the state. I
left messages on two machines but lucked out when I talked with a lady (home
sick from work that day) who did rescue with this group. She pointed me
toward this group. My Little Boy Bleu is great. He thinks so and so do I.
Keep praying for us because he needs a lot of work with social skills. It is
not so much men or strangers as sudden movement that gets us nailed. Last
time he bite me he knew he had done wrong as soon as he bit me. He knew he
was safe even after a lot of #$$#$$#^&& words. I threatened to pull all his
teeth out. He just licked the some of the blood off my hand and rolled over
for tummy rub. He knew I was all talk.
Bleu is 7 years old and by no means too old to adopt. Hyper is a common word
used to describe a puppy or young dog of this breed. After 10 days I cannot
imagine a sane person (do not get upset with me) having more than one of
these busy and nosy children. My other dogs think he is crazy when he runs
through the house with his sock. We call it the 100 yard dash and replay.
Special thanks to everyone that directly helped with my adoption. Also
thanks to those that helped indirectly and everyone else for their dedication
and prayers.

Mary,
The Bleu-man was soooooooooooooo very lucky to find his forever home with
you. Thanks again and again and again for opening your heart and home to
him. You are one special lady!
The "sock dash" was a remarkable site. He is a very spry seven-year-old! My
Ebony (who's only one yr.) just couldn't understand why he only wanted to
play alone!
I do miss my little lap warmer! But I'm so very glad he's happy at last!
Now he gets to learn what it's really like to be part of a family and have
unconditional love *returned.*
So.......when do we get to see some pics?
Give some smooches to Little Boy Bleu for me! And tell him his "step
sisters" Ebony & Winnie send face licks and little stumpy tail wags too.
Best to you,
Donna
p.s. I'm attaching a pic (it's actually two shots, but one file) of Bleu
taken this summer when he was in foster care w/ Linda (a.k.a. Doolittle) for
Mag to post to the site. They aren't the best...but at least everyone will
get to see how cute this little guy is! Mary, these are the same pics I
already sent to you.

Mag,
Attached is a photo of Dobie, who was found as a stray dog in West Hampton Beach. He was adopted by
a family in Peekskill, NY. Dobie was the boy who was placed once and he terrorized the family boxer by
taking all his toys and making him sit in a closet. We was later placed in his forever home in Peekskill.

I was not sure where to send this! I know for Mag's pages to send it to her
& I know Liz used to do the actual IMPS pages so sent it there also. One way
or another I am sure Gypsy will find her way to the pages! This was the best
picture I got to send, I have 4 others where I was trying to get her standing
near the book but she was worried about the whole affair & looked like a
massive roach back (they often do when trying to get them to stand when not
used to it) so did not send those. I would say she is about average size,
neither super tiny but not at all large. My best guess as to weight is
between 6 & 7 pounds & probably about 11 inches tall. My vet thought she was
between 5 & 7 months old, based on my own dogs, judging by her baby/permenent
teeth ratio I would go closer to the 7 months mark. Of course I am familiar
with what my own dogs & their lines tend to look like at a given age so could
be mistaken since I have no idea what is behind her & suppose different dogs
mature faster or slower than others. She is a sweet little thing, just very
frightened right now & my vet indicated there are lots of dogs who lead a
very wonderful life without sight so I hope we can find just the right place
for this "special needs" girl! That's all for now. Have a great day!!

Mag,
Hi, here are the pictures I took of our week of visitors. Being a typical dog owner,
I didn't take too many of the humans, but there are a few of those thrown in. I will send
them in seperate e-mails.
The first is one of myself, Wendy, Petie and Donna in front of our fireplace and the other
is of Vince with 6 of the 9 dogs all sleeping on his lap.
This group is from the dog show. That is Donna on Vince's lap. Maybe I should keep a
better watch of those two during her next visit...... The rest are Wendy and her dogs
struting their stuff!
These are from the two visits to Atlantic City. Big Gamblers and big winners...... (NOT)
These are all dog shots!!
These are dog shots and some Dawn photos. Isn't that Lucy just the sweetest thing you
ever did see!!!

So happy and playful all the time. She and Dallas are asleep on my lap right now. Ah, the
wonders of puppy love!

Mag,
Attached are the photos from todays adoptions. The first one are some group shots
from all the dogs running around. Tara took some others, so I hope hers come out
better.
The second are of Kim Sawyer and her boyfriend (sorry I am so bad with
remembering names, forgive me) with JoJo and Moe in the crate. Again I hope Tara
got some better photos of Moe. He was really handsome. Iris Sable did a great job
getting him in shape. The other is Bobbi Jo Gardiner and her husband with Star.
If you remember, Star needs hip surgery and Bobbi Jo has agreed to pay for 75% of
the surgery, at whopping $300.00. It's really heartwarming when people will put out
that much for a rescue.
So kudo's to the New Jersey Crew. They did great work today.

Mag ... your job is never done! Here are some more pics for the site, and
Ebony & Winnie's pic for the Holiday page.
The first pic is Max & CeCe. They're the brother/sister that moved from NJ
to MN in November. Aren't they sweet?!
The second pic is of (l to r) Max, CeCe, Star, Winnie and Ebony. These are
the dogs of "How to Sleep With Five Min Pins" fame!
The remaining two are Ebony and Winnie's 1999 Christmas pictures. I had a
devil of a time trying to get the color right. The pictures scanned much
darker than the originals. Hope they'll turn out ok on the site. If you
have any problems, let me know and I'll re-scan.

Mag,
Attached is the first of 3 sets of photos of the dogs we picked up from Rie and Marilyn in Ohio. These
are of Rie and the pregnant blue bitch, ready to have her pups any day now.
It is an honor to know both Rie and Marilyn and they deserve many thanks for all they do, not only for
this puppy mill closing, but for all 34 other dogs they have living with t
These photos are of the two puppies that Vince & I brought home with us. They, thankfully are healthy 8
week olds.
Rie & Melanie named the blue Tess (after Tess on Touched by an Angel) and the fawn Peabo, but we
changed it to Peanut (Vince once had a chi named Peanut) They are both lively minpin puppies and get
along great with Lucy and the crew.
This group is of the two fawn bitches that we brought home. We named them Bambi (obviously due to
fawn color) and Xena (after the TV show and how strong she is, etc) They are really sweet, and I can't
wait until they are no longer contagious so we can really show them some loving.

Mag,
This is a group of pictures from when Donna brought us the extra crates. She brought her girls and
Lulu along with her. I finally was able to sneak a couple shots of Lulu, so if you could add her picture to
the IMPS web site, I'd appreciate it. (Of course I had to throw a Lucy-Nikki cute picture in there also.
Thanks Mag, for all you do.

Well, much to my sadness, Peanut left here tonight for (hopefully) his forever home. The only way he
will be back is if something happens in the courts, but we know that Rie will make sure that doesn't
happen.
Peanut was the fawn colored puppy rescued from the Perry County Ohio Puppy Mill that was closed
down on December 14, 1999.
He will spend the rest of his life with Chuck & Linda Sheppard in Mullica Hill, NJ and since they also work
with me, I will be able to get daily updates on how he is doing.
So it will be a Happy Holiday, not only for Chuck & Linda, but for Peanut too.

Hi Mag,
We have been having really unseasonably warm weather here the last few days, so I have been able to
put my hairless wonders outside for some play time. I took some pictures and thought I would share
them with everyone.
They are both doing really good. Sorry to say that they are still quaranteed to the ex pen in the
basement, but at least they aren't contagious to humans any longer. We look forward to when we can
let them mix up with our crew, and then to when we can place them in a loving home.
Have a safe day.

Hi Mag & Donna & Dawn,
We received about 10 inches of snow yesterday. These crazy animals are loving it! So here is a group
of pictures of them playing in the snow. (Bet Millie would love to run in the yard with all this snow!)
You can put them on the site if you like, if not......that's ok too.
Can't wait to meet you in February!

Well two of our three fosters went home today. This picture is of Max 200 and his new mom Camille
Williams. Max will have a brother named Scott who is 9 months old. This big boy, believe it or not is only
5 months old. The guy bought him from a Mall Pet Store for $800. But he is a sweet kid. Vince said if
we didn't have 5 he would have kept this one. VBG.

Vince & I drove to Rochester today to take Xena to meet her new family. Hannah & Barry Sawyer will be
her new Mom and Dad and I think she is a very lucky girl. I can tell already that she will be spoiled rotten,
just like she should be. She will have a brother named Jackson.
I have to admit Vince & I both cried like babies when we were saying goodbye. We will both miss her very
much, but she will be very happy.

This is Dancer and his new dad Ron Moser. Dancer is the little boy that was left tied to a tree in front of a

Jax was living in Queens, NY outdoors tied to a plastic var-kennel until
December of 1999. When the owner was confronted about her care of the
dog, she gave it up. The foster family really couldn't keep the dog so he came
to live with me "temporarily." I found out quickly I am not cut out for
foster care. After just a few weeks, I knew I couldn't part with him.
I am still hoping that over time he will learn not to overreact to everything.
He is already learning some obedience and agility..

Someone asked about Bambi's hair. I have attached two photo's the top one is
when we got her, she only had a patch on her shoulder, was hairless everywhere else.
The second one is of her today. Not the best, but you can see she has hair on
her body, and legs, and you can see the chocolate markings coming out on her face and shoulders.

Tess's Family
This is a little late in coming ... but here's a picture of puppy Tess (one
of the Ohio puppy mill rescues) with her new family. She's sporting her
fashionable new polar fleece coat. Little Tessie is doing great -- and
keeping her family on their toes. The other day she did the infamous Min Pin
"dart out the front door." Meanwhile she has to be coaxed out the back door
into the yard for potty duties because it's cold out there! I said "Welcome
to Min Pin ownership." She's got the housebreaking thing just about down pat,
though; and her "mom" is looking into obedience classes. (Little Miss Tess
has quite an attitude!) I've asked for more pictures of her at home, and
will post them when/if I get them. (Sue, the mom, is notorious for taking
pictures but not getting the film developed... LOL!)

IMPS New Jersey - Rescue pics
The first is of Karen Weil and Lulu2. Lulu2 has settled right in with Karen
and hubby Neal. They are doing well, and Karen is bragging about her new
baby to everyone! Rumor has it her mom (in Las Vegas) now wants to adopt an
IMPS dog!
The second pic is of Luke. He'll be going to his "Forever Home" this
Saturday. Luke is moving to Vermont to live with Margaret Goodwin, hubby
Gary and family. He's going to have lots of doggy sisters when he gets there.
Picture three is the latest NJ rescue, Dancer. He's a gorgeous chocolate
puppy -- and he's a real firecracker! Poor little guy was abandoned by his
former owners -- I don't know how they did it...he's too cute for words.
The last pic is of my two foster boys Dancer and Sebastian. Sebastian is
still working on his fear of men. He's enrolled in obedience class, and
doing very well. Two boys under a year in the same house....I'll need a
vacation when it's over!
