Hello,
I wanted to post a couple photos of "Big" Jake. Jake is a "Med" Pin (we
call him that since he is on the larger side on a Min Pin) that I was
fostering after rescuing him from an animal shelter in Pittsburgh. My
parents saw him and totally fell in love with him. Jake is very spoiled
and now travels with my parents to the beach in their Motor Home. I had to
share some photos of Jake who has changed my parents life. My niece is in
a couple of the photos she just loves him and his huge ears.
Thanks,

This is an e-mail to let everyone who knows Nemo, know that he is doing very well. I adopted him in the end of April- beginning of May. Since then, we have completed our puppy schooling and have become very settled in here at our house. There are times when he thinks that he is the boss of the entire neighborhood... for example, he looks out of the front bay window and barks at almost everything that moves especially other people and dogs. We got his pictures taken and as you can see... he had done real well sitting pretty and listening to me. He is so sweet that I am even thinking of adopting another puppy in the future sometime. Thanks goes to the volunteers that helped me in my search to find the right puppy for me... espcially Samantha and Nemo's foster mommy Dolores. Thanks. Attatched are pics of Nemo and his diploma.

I was always interested in getting a min pin but my husband is into big dogs. Well June of 2005 I decided I was going to search for a rescue that had min pins. I found the IMPS website and looked for a dog. I found one I loved and sent in my application. Had a home visit and I passed. :) But I found out that the dog I was looking out already found a new loving home.
Well I was sent an email about the IMPS picnic in NJ and was told to come and check out the dogs that were there and I may find my forever friend. I arrived at this picnic not knowing what to expect. I was greeted by 20-25 little min pins running around the yard.
I spoke to Deb and she told me she had a dog she thought I would love and he would be there soon. Well Sonny arrived and it was love at first sight. He wasn't really interested in me but I was in him. He seemed a little frightened of me but I knew I would win him over somehow. :) Deb told me he was frightened of men and I thought to myself my husband is going to kill me but I have to have him. She also said we would be his 3rd-4th home. I couldn't understand why someone would do that to this little guy.
Well I took Sonny home that night and he hated my husband. He barked at him and ran away from him. But he loved me, my kids and my other animals. My 2 labs couldn't figure out what he was. It took him a good week to warm up to my husband. But now whenever you want to know where Sonny is just look for my husband.
Sonny is a great little dog that only wants to cuddle, be loved and lay in the sun. He is my shadow and my best friend. He has no food, toy or treat aggression. Which is why I can't figure out why he wasn't in a forever home. His only problem is that you can not touch his hind quarters or he snaps and growls. I am not sure why this is. Maybe he got smacked there to many times and remembers it. So we all know to stay away from there.
My kids want him so much to be their best friend but he only has eyes for me his FOREVER Mommy.

I hope that this is the correct way to give kudos to the IMPS MinPin rescue. We adopted Jaisy, now called Jay, from MinPin rescue last summer and we can not imagine that she was ever let go. She is the sweetest, most lovable addition to our family. She and our other minpin, SnoopDogg, have just bonded and can not be out of each others sight for any length of time.

Hi Mag,
I came across your website and wanted to share my love story with you.
In March we adopted Leo from IMPS, to be more accurate, Leo adopted us. In fact, Leo is Simka's brother (Hi Robyn). He was 3 little lbs when we brought him home, but now is a whopping 6lbs.
Like many MinPin owners we soon found out that they are like potato chips, you can't have just one, so in June we drove from Philly to Ohio and adopted Darma, also from IMPS.
We are so in love with our fur-kids. The combination of Leo's spirited puppy side combined with Darma's older, motherly attitude makes them great companions. They're just like my bio-kids, when one is getting too much attention the other gets jealous. When we go for walks Leo is your standard Min-Pin and barks at everything (mostly because he's afraid). Darma, who is a Min-Pin-Chihuahua mix, barks because she wants to fight everyone, no matter how big they are. The 2 of them keep all the other dogs in the neighborhood in line, our own little Fricke and Frack.
We're planning an addition for our home and when it's done I may adopt one or two more fur-kids.
Tracey

Hi Mag,
Sending a photo of my foster baby, Cody IMPS#11021 with his girlfriend Maggie, also an IMPS dog. He was adopted by volunteer Jean out by Pittsburgh. This little guy had 5 homes before coming into IMPS at the young age of 4 month! He is greatly loved by Jean and Bob and I couldn't have asked for a better home for him. Cody is the one with larger than life ears, LOL.
Thanks,Gail

I just had to share this photo of my foster Cody and his girlfriend Maggie, also an IMPS dog, resting on their 'couch'. Too funny!! Both dogs were adopted by a wonderful couple named Jean and Bob who open their home to a great many fosters, pins and non-pins alike. Thanks for sharing it, Gail IMPSNJ-PA.

Here are pictures of Stephanie & Zipporah, Congo African Grey parrots on different days at the outdoor concert this past summer. The Bee is the mascot of a local radio station.
And to make this Min Pin related, the last picture is of Zeesa dressed in her Christmas outfit before visiting the hospital and nursing home on a dog therapy visit on Christmas day, 2007.

I want to thank your hard working volunteers who worked with us to bring just the right dog into our home to blend well with SnoopDogg. Jay is such a delight and I think your organization does such a great job on finding the right dog for the right family.
I am attaching a few pictures of Jay and her sister SnoopDogg.
