Hello,
My husband and I adopted Hannah (formerly known as Yetta) Feb.10th and I
just wanted to brag a little.
Here are two pictures - one of Hannah on her favorite blanket...
and one of Hannah with her sisters Graeson (big ears) and Trinity (spotted).
Trinity and Hannah love to do laps around my couch to see who wins.
Hannah is also my permanent foot warmer - she likes to snuggle
underneath a blanket at your feet. I'd love it if you could post our
pic's!!

Hello there.....
Here is a current picture of Lily...the IMPS girl we got from Tim in
Texas last year.
Here is the newest addition to our minpin family, "Buddy". He is not an
IMPS "kid" but a show hopeful. (perhaps a future champion?) :-)

These are some pictures from The Woodlands Movie Theater in Texas. We
set up an IMPS booth to do some public outreach. This theater was
promoting the new movie Cat's and Dog's and part of their promotion
included inviting several rescue organizations to come and set up booths
and bring animals. My husband Brian and I brought our min pin Apollo and
Cookie brought her min-pins Bitty, Rocket, Buddy and Bernie. We wanted
people to see the many variations of the breed. We also passed out
pamphlets and told people about the dogs available on the IMPS web site.
We had a really great day and plan to do more public outreach in our
area. Here are some PICS for the website to share with others.
Thanks,

fits in perfectly! Apollo is wearing black and Vincent is wearing red :) I
also included a picture of Vincent getting comfy on our bed.

I found Ace in the Pasadena, TX Animal Shelter. He was a beautiful black/tan that weighed
about 7 lbs, very underweight for his height. Ace had been shot at and hit with pellets in his
leg to prove it; then hit by a vehicle; hair and skin missing from the top of his head and
survived it all to end up at the shelter. As luck would have it someone called me. I just didn't
realize just how lucky it was - for me. He was just an absolute love. Ace needed a warm bed and
blanket to burrow under in order to become himself again. A bundle of energy! Needless to say I
fell in love with him immediately and knew that he needed a special person all his own. That
person is John H. Ace now has his own person; his own home, his own playmates and especially
his own cat, Coco. What luck! Very deserving little one.

Molly was found wandering the highway in Pearland, TX. Some good Samaritans turned her in to
a Miniature Pinscher breeder. The breeder called me and again off I went in my little truck to
save another little one. Molly is a beautiful stag red with an adorable mischievous personality.
As soon as I brought her home she set about letting everyone else know that she was the Queen
and they were her subjects. If you know minpins you know that it doesn't normally go over very
well or very quickly if it does but she persevered. Molly was a little older than most of the
pins that I have rescued so I was not sure that she would get the home that she really deserved,
if at all, but she was fine here with us so I did not worry. Well before she could get her first
heartworm treatment, yes she had heartworms too; the best home in the world wanted her. AND she
would have her own black/tan male to boss around too. It just made our day to know that Molly
would have a wonderful home with wonderful parents (Henry and Davena) after all that she had
been through. God was looking out for Molly.

Luke, a beautiful but thin red male pin was rescued from the pound in Houston, TX. He is a
very loving and well-behaved minpin. Luke came into his foster home like "Cool-hand Luke", it
is as if when he walked through our door and said to everyone "Ok here I am, where do I bunk?".
A wonderful personality and get-along-ability and he was accepted by all of the other fur babies
immediately. As you can see Luke is a real lucky guy; he got his own forever home with wonderful
parents (Kathy and Lamar) and a new sister, Maggie. So much better than walking the streets!

Hi Mag,
Another Success Story for two little ones needing a home of their own. Buddy wandered into
my yard one day and was never claimed by anyone. Buddy II was an owner give up due to problems
with the child of the family. Both of the guys got along really well in their foster home.
Buddy, now called Cruiser and Buddy II, now called Hummer. Adopted by AJ and Ron, two
wonderful people, who spent a lot of work and money making sure that they had an escape-proof
fence for their new babies. AJ has even sewn pillows and blankets for the boys while working
and attending college. Ron, who also is a busy person, working etc, supplies a lot of love and
time also. The boys are in seventh heaven riding with Ron's son to visit friends and running in
their yard when not with their new parents. Back to Top of this Page

Hi,
Ginger is another success story. Ginger had to be given up by her first family due to
finances. Ginger, although a happy girl, always seemed to be looking for something. Then a
very good family was found for Ginger. Ginger has her own little girl now, in fact two of them
and a little brother to lady over and a great yard to run in.

Hi Mag,
Here is another adoption gone "good". Higgins, now called Billy Joe, had to be given up by
his owners due to a marriage. Billy Joe is pictured on the left with his brother Beau Jack on
the right and his own cat Marmie. His people are Doreen and Don, who don't send pics of
themselves but are wonderful and have given Billy Joe a great home. Another true success
story.
Thanks, Y
