Hi Mag,

Here are a couple of shots of Kisses who we are fostering. She's the 11 yr. old breeder bitch who was rescued from a byb here in WI. She's lived her life in the nost horriffic conditions imaginable, pumping out litter after litter. She had no vetinary care. She is just about recovered from an hellacious skin infection caused by mange.

Through all this, her little spirit has survived and waited for the day someone would love her and let her shine. She is the sweetest, dearest little animal I have ever known. She is very gentle and loving. It's been so rewarding watching her do so many things for the first time: go up stairs, sleep in a bed, be stroked by hands that don't hit, walk on a leash, etc. etc. etc. She is also deaf but is really easy to communicate with. She's an angel and a miracle to me. When she's regained her strength she'll be boarding a plane to PA and her forever home with Barbara. I want to thank IMPS so much for believeing in this old girl and helping me do all that was necessary to restore her health and find her a home.

Mag, next time you're updating the website, here's a pic for you to post. This is Dolly from IL, the dear girl who was bitten in the eye by a Lab. She's doing great and her eye now looks perfectly normal, although she has not regained vision. She went home today with her new momma and daddy, Melissa and Todd.

Some of us IMPS Wisconsinites got together yesterday to make squares for this year's Quilt Raffle. We are all complete amateurs but, with Jodi's exceptional guidance, were able to produce some not-so-shabby squares! It was a really fun day and, as always, a challenge keeping Stanley off the table. :-) I saw most of the other squares that folks have sent in and they're FABULOUS! This year's quilt is gonna ROCK so look for the finished product and raffle instructions in a month or so!
