QUILT RAFFLE INSTRUCTIONS

We are pleased to announce the beginning of the 4th Annual Miniature Pinscher Quilt Raffle. First prize is the queen sized quilt pictured here. The squares were made and donated by IMPSters the world over. Jodi put them all together and made the quilt.

There are also 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes (see pictures below):

  • 2nd Prize is a beautiful crocheted afghan, which was organized and made by Lynn Bryant using squares donated by MinPin fanciers all over the country.
  • 3rd Prize is a realistic portrait of the chosen animal from photos provided by the winner, with pastel chalks in a size appropriate for the subject, painted by Lynn Bryant, an artist from Cumming, GA.
  • 4th Prize is a choice of any item/s (to the value of $40) produced by Ronna Roberts of Silver Rose Productions, donated by Faith Gordon, Mau-D Miniature Pinschers
  • 5th Prize is an IMPS Pillow made Betsy R. of IMPS IN.
  • 6-10th Prizes are MinPin sized afghans made by Betsy R. of IMPS IN.
  • 11th Prize is an afghan was donated by Estelle Ridzelski. It is done in worsted weight yarn and is approximately 41" x 53" big.... plenty enough for a Pin or two!

Here's how the raffle will work:

  1. Tickets are available for $3.00 each or 8 for $20.00. All proceeds will be donated to IMPS.
  2. Send your check (made out to IMPS), along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

    PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR CHECK SO WE CAN CALL YOU IF YOU WIN!

  4. We will use double-sided raffle tickets. One half will be mailed back to you and the other thrown in the raffle bowl. We will keep a log of all names/ticket numbers.
  5. The raffle will start Monday, September 6th 2004 and end on October 16th 2004. All entries must be postmarked by October 16th.
  6. The raffle drawing will take place on Sunday, October 24th 2004. Winners will be posted on the saluki and admin lists as well as receiving a very happy phone call from us.

3RD PRIZE

3rd Prize offered for the raffle is either a head or full body portrait of the animal of your choice on a solid-type background. Lynn Bryant is an artist located in Cumming, GA who will paint a realistic portrait of the chosen animal from photos provided by the winner, with pastel chalks in a size appropriate for the subject. Painting will be mailed to the winner of the auction, ready for matting and framing.

What follows are some examples of Lynn's work, showcasing her abilities with landscapes, two of her own Miniature Pinscher, Giselle and one of Jan's Star. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to win a custom painted portrait of your precious baby!

5TH PRIZE

This pillow, made by Betsy R. of IMPS IN, is made out of an IMPS t-shirt
and has a velcro opening so the cover can be removed to launder. The
pillow insert itself is hypoallergenic and washable as well. It is 16 x 16.

6TH, 7TH, 8TH, 9TH & 10TH PRIZES

6-10th Prizes are Five MinPin sized afghans made by Betsy R. of IMPS IN. Betsy makes one of these for each of her fosters when they go to their forever homes! These are not "people" size, but rather "for the dogs."
