Click on the Quilt above to see details of the Quilt squares The rescue work that IMPS does is all about the dogs and how many can be saved. Sometimes the people behind rescue also need to be acknowledged. This quilt was donated in memory of Tina Wolff. Tina owned a quilt shop in River Falls, WI and due to her generosity nearly put her husband in the poor house. Tina was taken ill suddenly in early February, underwent Gallbladder surgery where cancer was detected, and passed away in the hospital never returning home to meet the newest addition to the family.. a 15 yrr old Husky mix whose owner had died suddenly. Tina's friends and the local quilters, many having been recipients of her willingness to help those in need, all spent the months after Tina's death creating this quilt in her honor while helping the family close out her store. The store was a place for friendship and kindness and is sorely missed after 12 years of business but the real tragedy is the loss of a person that donated her time, money, and materials to causes such as: dog beds for the animal shelter, horse blankets for the local equine rescue, making quilts for hurricane Katrina victims, and the list goes on. This quilt is not only in Tina's memory but dedicated to the many that are still with us making a difference. Thank you each and every one of you because just by being on this page and considering a raffle ticket you are making the world a better place.
